I understand that Mercy Ships is a faith-based charity that is crewed by volunteers from all over the world. Together, we're committed to bringing hope and healing.
I understand that Mercy Ships volunteers are not paid a salary.
I understand that Mercy Ships volunteers are responsible for paying crew fees, transportation costs to and from the ship’s location, and all personal expenses while on board (see sample budget). Crew fees vary depending on the length of your volunteer commitment and your nation of residence. Financial Support may be available to those joining for 2+ years or those serving in critical roles. 
I have reviewed the licensure, qualifications, and experience required for this role and confirm that I meet the requirements. I can and will submit all relevant certifications with my application.
Due to maritime regulations and other circumstances, I understand that some medical conditions may disqualify candidates from volunteering with Mercy Ships. A current Personal Health History, Physical Evaluation, and Immunization Checklist are required for all applicants.
I understand that all volunteers must comply with Mercy Ships’  Immunization Requirements.
I understand that English proficiency is required for all positions in Mercy Ships, and fluency is required for some positions. I understand that I must submit my application and CV/resume in English for Mercy Ships to review my application.
I have read and understand Mercy Ships’ family separation policy and am not applying for an opportunity that would go against this policy .
